The Time is a Funk band formed in Minneapolis, Minnesota in the 1980s. They were had many hits during that period of time such as Jungle Love,The Bird, Cool, and The Walk.
Its members were keyboardist Jimmy 'Jam' Harris, bassist Terry Lewis, vocalist Morris Day, keyboardist Monte Moir, guitarist Jesse Johnson, and drummer Jellybean Johnson.
